Alumnus Sean Skinker used applied project to volunteer with Partners in Food Solutions

Sean stated, "The applied project allowed me to use my knowledge to aid a foreign company with providing a safe and secure food supply, and I feel like I made a difference in their community. The Online Master of Science in Food Safety program at Michigan State University gave me a broad understanding in multiple aspects of food safety throughout the supply chain. The program offers a diverse set of core and elective courses that I could choose what was most relevant for my personal interests and most beneficial for my career as the QA Manager and Food Safety Team Leader for my site. The internationally recognized staff provided great insight into the evolving food safety challenges in our industry and throughout the world."
